Everyone will feel angry at someone or something at some point in life. How we choose to react makes all the difference in our lives.

Holding on to anger makes us bitter and resentment only gets worse if we hold on to our anger.

Leviticus 19 vs 18 says "Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against one of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord."

Anger leaves us with little time and energy to bless others, praising God and enjoying life. The only way to get over a bitter heart is to actively love the ones who have wronged you and serve them in ways that bless their lives. It is hard but if we are the Christians that we profess to be, we should do it because we know God, we love God and we want to please God

1 Peter 3 vs 8-11 says "8 Finally, all of you, be like-minded, be sympathetic, love one another,be compassionate and humble. 9 Do not repay evil with evil or insult with insult. On the contrary, repay evil with blessing, because to this you were called so that you may inherit a blessing. 10 For,“Whoever would love life and see good days must keep their tongue from evil and their lips from deceitful speech.11 They must turn from evil and do good; they must seek peace and do good; they must seek peace and pursue it."

Forgiveness transfers the burden of avenging from you to God, for He is the one who looks after the ones that do His will.

Thank you for taking time to read this and may the Good Lord bless you. Amen........
